For weddings, I suggest reaching out to inquire about pricing and packages at least 3-6 months prior. I understand that some wedding events can be planned last minute, so I'll try to accomodate as much as I can.

Generally speaking, I don't accept bookings with less than 8 week notice because between the consultation meetings, signing contract and accepting deposit, it wouldn't be enough time for me to dedicate a proper time to your event. I'd still suggest reaching out to check for my availability.

That's such an important question to ask before inquiring and boooking with a photographer. Picking the "right" photographer depends on many factors such as your budget, preferred style and location. Depending on the package, the delivery time might take anywhere from 4-12 weeks. Within 24-48 hours, I will deliver sneak peek photos from your album so you can start sharing photos with friends and family and I can receive any feedback for editing the rest of the album.

I typically take a few hundred to few thousands photos, so the culling (going through photos and removing blurry, unfocused, duplicate photos) process alone can take up to 3-6 hours.

Within a week, I go through multiple rounds of culling and within two weeks, I typically finish all major edits. The reasons it might take longer to deliver include prior commitments, backlog of editing and my commitment to deliver the highest quality photos with best editing. The last reasons sometimes means I have to a break and revisit to make any adjustments.

Long way of saying it depends!

Yes! All the weddings I have shot have been in the general RDU area, but I'm open to travelling within NC and the East Coast. To accommodate for travel and lodging expenses, a travel fee will need to be added increasing the cost of each package.

I have not had to turn down any shoot as of yet. Because of my faith and personal comfort, I have a strict policy against events, shoots and weddings that involve the use and consumption of alcohol. This is explictly stated on my contract as well.

After your shoot, you will receive a link to your private gallery that you can share with friends and family. Access to the private gallery will expire in 30 days, so I always encourage clients to download all their photos and back them up on MULTIPLE devices to avoid losing photos.

On my end, I will keep a backup copy for one year in case anything happens to your copies. After the year, I will no longer have copies of edited or unedited photos.

This is explictly stated on my contract as well.

Depending on the size of the event, I do hire second photographers to get more coverage and creative angles. Second photographers are typically also professionals with their own business, work and style. The cost for a second photographer is automatically factored in each package.

Their role is to capture more of the creative angles and candid moments while I'm busy getting the big moments in the day. All editing and communication, however, is done exclusively by me.

This is an important topic that I discuss with every client during our consultation before the contract is signed. Everyone has different comfort levels when it comes to being posted online. Some want to avoid face visibility, identifying details, or prefer full privacy.

I accommodate your preferences, whether that means selective posting or full non‑posting. If you request that none of your photos be shared online, an additional fee applies to cover the loss of content I would normally use for my portfolio.

When it comes to posting any of your photos on social media and my website, I have the right to use all photos, but I choose to always ask for permission first because your boundaries matter to me.

Contrary to what some may assume, I’m paid for the full hours you book not just the minutes I’m actively pressing the shutter. Your coverage includes everything within that time frame (for example, 1pm–9pm = 8 hours), and that naturally includes breaks for prayer, dinner which is typically when I eat, bathroom breaks, and any pauses caused by schedule changes.

For larger events with a second shooter, I always make sure one of us is actively photographing while the other takes a short break. We rotate intentionally so that important moments are never missed and breaks never happen during key parts of the day.
